Centerchem Inc. has acquired Diow Products, Inc., a supplier of high quality ingredients and novel functional technologies for the cosmetic and personal care industries. The firm, founded by Mark Palumbo, has offices in New York and California. Mr. Palumbo will join Centerchem as vice president. Diow’s products include LumyNel polymers, Organza, StrataGel and DiowGel silicones, DiowSperse and DiowShield dispersions, Diocide preservatives, ptalatum, Hydrakelp, Gly-Rabinan, AuraSphere wrinkle-veiling polymer dispersion technology and DSP 250 and Penstia powder products. In addition, Centerchem will establish a West Coast office to supplement its existing presence there through its current representative, E.T. Horn. More info: www.centerchem.com
